Board your light aircraft at Arusha and fly to Seronera airstrip in the heart of the Serengeti. An afternoon game drive puts you straight into lion country — the vast plains stretch to the horizon, broken only by kopjes and umbrella acacias.

A full day exploring the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon drives cover different terrain in search of big cats, wildebeest, zebra, and giraffe. Cheetahs hunt across the open plains while lion prides rest beneath ancient acacia trees.

Continue tracking the great wildebeest migration. Your guide reads the landscape for predator activity — a cluster of vultures, a nervous herd, a low silhouette in the grass. Sundowners in the bush as the sky turns amber.

Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 metres into the crater. This enclosed ecosystem supports the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa — lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and hippo share the crater floor. Visit a Maasai boma on the rim.

A final morning game drive on the crater rim, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
